I'm a little burned out on listening to NPR or other talk radio in the car, like I normally do. I pulled out and dusted off the non-iPod mp3 player yesterday and got a wonderful random mix for the drive home. Sometimes the songs just align so perfectly.
- "I Will Follow You Into The Dark"--Death Cab for Cutie
- "Unconditional"-- The Bravery
- "Save Me"-- Aimee Mann
- "Radiate"-- Fleming & John
- "River Valley-- Moxy Früvous
- "Better Things"--The Kinks
- "Starman"-- David Bowie
It was so enjoyable that I had to write it down as soon as I got home.
And yes, I am lucky to have a short commute.

i listened to entire pulp cd...twice and then i had to turn on the radio...before i got home the other night. and that was a light traffic night!
still...i got to listen to a whole cd twice...not many other chances to do that.
Last night was actually kind of a heavy traffic night for me...sorry.
Aimee Mann's "Save Me" is my all-time favorite song. "Starman" is way up there too, so to me you had a fabulous drive home.
I loooooooove that Death Cab song. The videos for it(there are more than one) are cool, too.
Thanks for the comment today, Jodi! :)

I just bought software that lets me transfer my vinyl to mp3 format. Talk about blasts from the past :)
Ren introduced me to the DCFC song and I loved it so much I downloaded the album from iTunes and love, love, love it! Dave and I listen to it and hold hands (while driving).
