Okay, so you got me in the door for your limited offering of the Peppermint Mocha. I realize that I often have expectations for how the world should operate that are just way too lofty. I sort of expect that if I venture into a Starbucks, any Starbucks, I'll get the same quality service and drinks. Boy, am I wrong!
Why is it that only about 50% of the various stores I've been to for the aforementioned beverage (5-6 total) bother to put on the red sprinkles? Also, if your perky barista is going to "get something started" for me before I get up to the register, why is it that the six people in line behind me get served before I do???
I will note that one of your locations in Los Feliz has the friendliest staff, the best service, and the most consistency with the drink-making. I will try to take most of my business there.
I just don't think I'd experience these same frustrations at Dunkin' Donuts. Oops, there I go again with my assumptions. You'd think I'd learn by now.

i feel ya, i am not really a fan of starbucks but i will go in for the peppermint mocha. and then i get disappointed because i still don't really like the coffee. not all dunkin' donuts are created equal either though, only SOME of them make their donuts fresh, the rest get them delivered frozen. sad.
Oh, I don't go for the donuts, just the coffee.
omg, this cracks me up! Because truthfully, I'm not a fan of Starbucks, but their peppermint mocha is on my top 1000 (!) list. If they're trying to be like McDonald's and rule the coffee world, they should be more consistent in their quality. You can add my name to your letter, too. :)
Why not give the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf a chance?
Good point Michelle. Maybe I will. I sometimes go there for tea, but don't think I've had their coffee.
I am not a coffee drinker, but I like their Ice Blended drinks.
P.S. I tried Coffee Bean's Peppermint Mocha and it was more pepperminty, i.e. better than the one at Starbucks!
try delocating!
