I am feeling a bit better. I just have a lingering cough, which is annoying. It kept me up most of the night last night and made me run out of a concert during one of my favorite songs. I'm also losing my voice and having difficulty carrying on conversations at noisy holiday parties, as I found out earlier tonight.
We saw Nickel Creek at The Wiltern last night. They were great. Just fabulous musicians who build a great rapport with the audience. My only complaint was the 7-foot tall giant who was sitting in front of me. I am not exaggerating, in fact I may be underestimating his height. He was at least 7-feet tall. Luckily, I was on the aisle and was able to lean out and even take a couple of photos.

Glad to hear you're on the mend!!
I miss going to concerts...we use to go to 3-6 of them a year. Unfortunately, haven't gone to one 3 years!! At least it was a great one...Peter Gabriel.
I saw Tori Amos at the Wiltern. She was awesome. And that's such a beautiful theater. I wish I knew more people who liked the same type of music I do and would be willing to go to concerts with me. :)
Aw...Peter Gabriel's tour 3 years ago was great!
Tori at the Wiltern must have been great. I saw her at the Greek awhile back.
My husband and I were at the Nickel Creek concert last December 17 (Wiltern.) He's 7 feet tall exactly. I think you might be talking about him. We were gonna go stand down front, but he'd just come off being on-call in the ER all night long and needed to sit down. I guess it sucks for the short people who have to sit behind him, but there's not much he can do about his height. It would suck for us to have to sit in the nose bleeds at every concert just so no one would have to sit behind him. No easy answer to this problem.
