Must Not See TV

Well, it's that time of year again. National TV-Turnoff Week. Yeah, I don't think so. Come on, Heroes, which I worked hard to catch up on, is back tonight* and there's a new episode of The Office this week, complete with one of the best Jim pranks ever. It's all about moderation anyway. Watch a little tv, read a little, exercise a little. It's all good, right?

I will participate in one respect by not watching the relatively new comedy Notes From The Underbelly. I was recently working with NINE (now seven, thanks to two healthy baby girls being born) pregnant women! I really don't need to experience any more of that kind of humor at home.

*Not to mention that I'll also watch 24, The Riches, and Drive tonight. Okay, so maybe I'm going a bit overboard and not doing this in moderation!

well, wouldn't it count if you just tivo'd it all for next week and never actually "turned the tv on" this week?

It's been killing me to wait this long to see the new Heroes, so yeah, that just won't work. Nice idea though! (Not to mention 24, Drive, which I'm trying out thanks to dear Nathan Fillion, Lost, and The Office!

I like the Notes From The Underbelly show, but I know it's not for everyone.

hum. I guess I didn't know it was National tv-turnoff week. Well, the tv has been monopolized by the husband and hockey playoffs, so my tv time has been limited.
And call me crazy, but I like to wait till I have at least 2 episodes of Heroes (Lost, insert addicted show here) to watch. That way, at the end of episode 1, instead of saying "OMG, i can't believe they left me hanging like that and now I have to wait a whole week to find out what happened!" I can just watch that next episode, no longing for another 7 days.

Good luck with turning off the TV then! I usually have to make myself turn it on ... lol!
Go on, move that finger away from the remote ... you can do it!

Man, now I fee like a slacker for just watching the one show. Although we got one of those DVR things, maybe I'll start watching more tv now. Maybe your moderation is about seasons. You know tv season, book season, wabbit season.
